The City of Vista offers the Out and About Vista program, a grant-funded transportation service specifically for residents aged 60 and above. Here's what the program includes:

Van Service

This service operates within the town for grocery shopping and local medical appointments.

Taxi Scrip

Offers a 60% discount on the actual value. For example, a $20 booklet costs only $8. Each person is limited to purchasing 4 booklets per month. However, the discount does not apply to the taxi meter rate.

Lunch Program Transportation

Door-to-door shuttle service to the center's lunch program is available for Vista residents age 60 and above.  Suggested donation for roundtrip service is $1.  Call 760.643.5288 to schedule a ride.
