Firefighter/Paramedic Conor Frasher

01-13-26 Council

We celebrate Conor Frasher, the 2025 Vista Firefighter of the Year. Conor embodies the heart, courage, and devotion that define the fire service, demonstrating a natural calmness under pressure paired with remarkable skills and composure that consistently make a real difference in emergencies. His expertise saves lives and protects property when every second counts.

Firefighter/Paramedic Conor Frasher is an outstanding firefighter, paramedic, and teacher who has strengthened our department in countless ways. He has dedicated substantial effort to ensuring the operational proficiency of the WATER Street EMS program and has played a key role in training the next generation of responders by modernizing the probationary manual to better support incoming recruits.

What truly distinguishes Conor is his ability to inspire others through his passion, compassion, and quiet leadership. He guides newer members with humility and professionalism, motivating others through example rather than seeking personal recognition. His selection as Firefighter of the Year reflects not only his accomplishments but the character he displays, his steadfast reliability, and his loyalty to the profession and the fire service family.
