The Rise Above Academy is an 8-week youth leadership program offered by the Vista Sheriff’s Office. This program invites third, fourth and fifth graders with their parents to learn about various topics and introduce themselves to law enforcement programs and services. This program is free for all participants but limited to Vista residents. Topics to be covered include gangs, physical wellness, mental wellness, drug/alcohol/tobacco prevention and more. The program will have presentations, role-playing, activities, and guest speakers. Parental participation in the program is required.
