Each year, in preparation for the upcoming fire season and ahead of Vista Fire Rescue's visual property inspections, letters are sent to parcels that are included in the vegetation management program. These letters serve as reminders to maintain fire-safe properties, and this proactive approach has been highly effective in reducing the risk of vegetation fires in the community.

Please note: The letters are sent before Vista Fire Rescue conducts property inspections. If your property meets the vegetation management policy requirements, no further action or notification will be necessary.

The Vista Fire Rescue Fire Prevention Bureau thanks property owners in advance for their cooperation and appreciates the high level of compliance, which helps keep the Vista community safe from fire hazards.
