Registration Now Open: Rise Above Academy for Vista Youth and Families

Registration is now open for the Rise Above Academy, an 8-week youth leadership program offered by the Vista Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the City of Vista. Designed for Vista residents in third, fourth, and fifth grade, and their parents, this free program introduces families to local law enforcement programs and services while tackling real-world topics like gang awareness, physical and mental wellness, and drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention. Expect hands-on learning through presentations, role-playing, activities, and guest speakers. Space is limited, parental participation is required, and the impact is real; this is a smart, supportive way to help kids build confidence, leadership skills, and healthy decision-making.
