The City of Vista's calendar features a variety of meetings and events sponsored or hosted by the City. While we aren't able to accept external calendar submissions, you can find a wide range of community events on the Vista Chamber of Commerce's calendar and a listing of events occurring in Downtown Vista.

What is the City of Vista General Plan Update Project?

The City of Vista General Plan Update project is a multi-year planning and outreach process. The project represents an opportunity for Vista to address growth and develop a long-term blueprint for the future of the City. The planning effort will be targeted and focused on certain areas of the General Plan that need revising and will include robust community engagement. The updated Plan will reflect the future vision for the City of Vista and ultimately position the City for long-term success.

At this workshop, you're invited to:

  • Explore key updates to land use and policies
  • See how community input influenced the Draft General Plan and the Program Environmental Impact Report
  • Learn what happens next in the adoption process
  • Share feedback and submit public comments
